HIP IMPINGEMENT

(Pinching Pain in the Front of Your Hip)

That deep, pinching pain when you squat, run, or sit for too long?

That’s likely hip impingement. It happens when the bones in your hip joint pinch together, making movement uncomfortable.

HIP BURSITIS

(Outer Hip Pain & Stiffness)

A dull, aching pain on the side of your hip that gets worse when you lie on it?

That’s a telltale sign of hip bursitis. It’s caused by irritation of the fluid-filled sacs (bursae) that cushion your hip joint.

HIP FLEXOR STRAIN

(Tight, Weak, or Overworked Hip Muscles)

Feeling tight at the front of your hip?

Struggling to lift your knee or stretch your hip? That’s likely a hip flexor strain—caused by too much sitting or overuse in sports like running and cycling.

HIP ARTHRITIS

(Stiff, Achy Hips That Feel Worse in the Morning)

If your hip feels stiff, achy, and harder to move—especially in the morning or after sitting too long—arthritis could be the issue.

Over time, the cartilage protecting your hip joint wears down, leading to pain and stiffness.

HIP LABRAL TEAR

(Clicking, Locking, or Deep Hip Pain)

Does your hip click, lock, or feel unstable when you move?

A labral tear happens when the soft tissue (labrum) around your hip joint gets damaged, making movement feel awkward or painful.
