Head, Neck & Jaw Pain

(Headaches, TMJ & Vertigo)

Recurring headaches, jaw tension, or dizziness often come from the same place. At Thrive, we assess the whole picture to identify what’s driving your symptoms and get you lasting relief.

How It Works

Many headaches, migraines, TMJ (jaw pain), and vertigo symptoms are caused or aggravated by:

  • Tight or overactive neck and shoulder muscles

  • Restricted upper spine or jaw joints

  • Nerve irritation

  • Posture and movement habits

  • Stress and breathing mechanics

We combine hands-on treatment, movement retraining, and simple lifestyle tweaks to reduce
pressure and calm your nervous system.

You’ll leave understanding what’s happening, what to avoid, and what will help.

Common injuries we treat

  • Headaches & Migraines -  If you feel tightness in your neck or base of the skull, or headaches that get worse after screens or stress, it’s often cervicogenic (neck-related).
We use gentle joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, and posture retraining to ease tension and reduce recurrence.

  • TMJ (Jaw Pain & Clicking) - Jaw pain, clicking, or stiffness often comes from tension in the TMJ (temporomandibular joint) and surrounding neck muscles. We help restore balance, movement, and reduce clenching patterns that irritate the area with exercises and hands on techniques.

  • Vertigo & Dizziness - Vertigo (the feeling of spinning or imbalance) is often linked to inner ear or vestibular dysfunction, or tightness in the upper neck.
Our physios use vestibular rehabilitation techniques to retrain your balance system and reduce dizziness safely.

What to expect

We are experienced clinicians trained in manual therapy, vestibular rehab, and TMJ dysfunction. We will assess posture, breathing, and stress patterns, not just symptoms, and our private, calm clinic setting is ideal for sensitive conditions like vertigo or migraines.

We don’t just ease the pain, we teach your body how to stop it returning.
