How It Works
Before surgery (Prehab)
We focus on:
Strengthening muscles around the joint so recovery is faster.
Improving mobility and control before the operation.
Reducing swelling and stiffness through targeted exercises.
Education on what to expect post-op, positions, aids, and exercises you can start straight away.
Patients who complete prehab typically recover 30–40 % faster and experience fewer complications.
After surgery (Rehab)
Once cleared by your consultant, we begin structured, stage-by-stage rehabilitation:
Early phase – swelling reduction, gentle range-of-motion, scar management, gait retraining.
Middle phase – progressive strengthening, balance, neuromuscular control, functional tasks.
Advanced phase – return-to-sport or return-to-work conditioning, power, confidence, sport-specific drills.
Every plan is bespoke and designed around your surgery, goals, and timeline.
