Recover Better
Move easier
Feel lighter
In Archway / Tufnell Park
The Thrive Recovery Room is a private 30-minute recovery session combining infrared sauna and compression boots to help your body relax, recharge and recover.

Whether you train hard, run, lift, play sport, or simply want to feel less stiff, heavy or achy, this is designed to give your body dedicated time to recover.
What’s inside the Recovery Room?
Infrared Sauna

A private, single-person infrared sauna that uses gentle heat to warm the body, encourage sweating and promote relaxation. Infrared sauna use has been studied for areas such as muscle soreness, arthritis, cardiovascular health and general wellbeing, although larger studies are still needed.

Compression Boots

Compression boots gently inflate and deflate around the legs, helping support circulation and reduce feelings of heaviness, stiffness and post-training soreness. Compression therapy is commonly used to support circulation and swelling management in the lower legs.

How It Works
Your session lasts 30 minutes.
You’ll have private use of the room, including:
-
Time in the infrared sauna
-
Time using the compression boots
-
A calm, quiet environment to relax and reset
We’ll show you how everything works before your first session so you feel confident and comfortable.

Who is it for?
For runners, gym-goers and active people

If you train regularly, recovery is not optional.
The Recovery Room is ideal if you:
-
Feel heavy, tight or sore after training
-
Are preparing for or recovering from a race
-
Struggle with stiff legs after gym sessions
-
Want to support recovery between sessions
-
Need dedicated time to relax and reset
Perfect after running, gym training, Hyrox-style sessions, sport, long walks or heavy leg days. Use it to feel fresher, looser and more ready for your next session.
For over 50s, joint stiffness & everyday aches

The Recovery Room is also designed for people who want to feel more comfortable day to day. It may be helpful if you experience:

-
Joint stiffness
-
Swelling or heavy legs
-
Arthritis-related aches
-
Reduced circulation
-
General muscle tension
-
Feeling stiff when getting up or moving around

This is not a replacement for physiotherapy or medical care, but it can be a helpful part of your wider wellbeing routine.

How often should I use it?
It depends on your goal.
For active recovery, many people use it:

-
Once a week as part of their routine
-
After harder training sessions
-
Before or after a race/event
-
During periods of heavy training
For stiffness, swelling or general wellbeing, you may benefit from using it regularly, depending on how your body responds.
A good place to start is one session per week and then build from there if it feels helpful.
